Working together to feed those in need in our community.
It's easy to feel overwhelmed and helpless right now.
Ours is an amazing community, and it's pulling together like never before to help those who are struggling during the pandemic. So many people have approached us to task what can we do? How can we help? How do we make a difference?
This is where FeedCulver comes in. FeedCulver is a partnership between local restaurants, the Exchange Club, the Culver City Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Business Association working with the City of Culver City and local non-profits to prepare and distribute nourishing and nutritious meals to those in need in our community - and we need your support to make it happen.
How does it work?
Local restaurants, led by Akasha, create and package meals, which are delivered to volunteer organizations each day to be distributed through their programs.
Who does this serve?
We hope to start with 100 meals per day to be distributed for free to those in need in our Culver City community. Additionally, this program helps keep our local businesses open and their employees working.
What can I do?
Make a donation - buy a meal for a neighbor in need! All donations will be managed by the Exchange Club and the money used to cover the cost of food and preparation. CLICK HERE to donate.
Do you own a restaurant or catering business? Contact us about getting involved with FeedCulver. Please note - due to stringent health requirements we are not able to engage with home cooks at this time.
is a partnership coordinated by Vice Mayor Göran Eriksson, Council Member Thomas Small, the Exchange Club of Culver City, this Culver City (unofficial page) Facebook group, Culver City Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Business Association and local restaurants.
