2021 Culver City High School Senior Day


Event Overview     On Sunday, June 6th, 2021, Downtown Culver City businesses welcomed the seniors from Culver City High School to celebrate their graduation during such a difficult year. Pennants with the students' names were hidden throughout Downtown Culver City, and then got a swag bag with a commemorative mask and tickets to redeem for treats at select Downtown businesses

Overview     COVID-19 has led to more food-insecure seniors, families, and neighbors within Culver City. The restaurant industry has been greatly affected as well. When you donate to, you're actually giving back in more ways than one. You're helping many people within the community who have been impacted by the pandemic, including a food-insecure neighbor, a restaurant neighbor, and a neighborhood.

2020 Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration (presented by Amazon Studios)


Event Overview     Join us on Thursday, December 10 at 6pm PST as we stream Culver City’s annual tree lighting celebration from California’s Heart of Screenland right to your home. Enjoy performances from Culver City High School’s Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, a specially created world-premiere dance film by Invertigo Dance Theatre, and VOX Femina vocalist Lesili Beard as well as appearances by Culver City Council members and our special guest, Academy Award-winner Tim Robbins, Artistic Director of the Actors' Gang Theatre. Count down with the Mayor as he flips the switch and lights the beautiful 22-foot Rocky Mountain pine tree with over 7500 warm-white LED lights. Downtown Business Association President Darrel Menthe will host and, of course, Santa Claus will be there, and he’ll be telling everyone how you can visit him - online, of course! It is 2020 after all!
